[Vector Conflict The Siege]

Awesome

One of the best flash games (or any game, for that matter) that I've played. I could easily imagine a port of this appearing as a commercial game, say Xbox Live Arcade or something like that. Great sound/music, challenging gameplay that somehow doesn't become too repetitive and awesome visuals.

Some things I would add/change:
- zoom function to get those far away foes more easily
- more weapons (traps, missile volleys, chain lightning gun, rail gun, etc)
- have the EMP work on air opponents also (maybe not stop them, persay, but slow them down atleast)
- face different direction with the mouse rather than keyboard. For that matter, just make the entire thing free scrolling.

I only played in HARD because I'm HARDCORE. This stuff probably doesn't need to change in the wussy difficulties.

I loved it all. Funny little things to find, very smooth, you definitely have some programming skills.

Just wondering, did you somehow implement the "iGod" chatbot into this? Because the chatbot had similar... idk, interfaces and responses?

Awkward controls

Its a great game, really. Good graphics, smooth engine, etc. The only major drawback is the control scheme... half the challenged I knew how to do, but It was made much more difficult by the controls. I would have made the up arrow key the jump and the space bar the lift.

Beat it 100%

It took a while, and it was pretty frustrating.
Liked it, good levels, nice bikes.

My only problem: The level where you are chased by the piano.
That was just way to frustrating.

The mini-map should show obstacles. You'd have to have the reflexes of a fly to jump over the rocks as they hurl at you.

Other than that, awesome game. Lame ending movie.

come on, people...

...you're taking away score from this game because of some religious references? It's not trying to preach to you. It's using it as a means to drive the plot. Even if your not religious doesn't mean you have to go "OH SHIT RELIGION! FUCK!" and hate it.

Anyways, yes, I thought it was definitely too hard. The items were so discreet and the puzzles were just ridiculous. There should atleast be some more clues about how to do certain tasks (such as blocking the mirror).

Still, great story, very well done visuals, but I thought some of the voice acting was a bit weak, and it was almost impossible to beat without the walkthrough.

Coolio

So it has some pretty good gameplay, nice graphics and overall presentation, and decent sound. There isn't much to complain about. I DO have some suggestions for either an update or a sequel.

A) Give the guards a set path. I know this sounds boring, and that it will make the game less difficult, but seriously, security guards in real life are supposed to have actual areas they are supposed to guard. Because of their random, erratic movement patterns, I found myself either waiting for 5 minutes before I get a good opprotunity to kill the guy OR they all happened to swarm my EXACT location just by random. It would be easier to code and would also give the game a much more retro, enjoyable vibe.

B) Get rid of those weird background noises. Why does it sound like some sort of park? Wind? What? Change it to some sort of ambient industrial/factory noise. That would be nice.

C) A gun would be nice. You don't try to assassinate a guy with a knife when you know he has a ton of guards armed with assault rifles. That's just not smart.

I didn't really bother playing through the whole game because honestly, I didn't find a whole lot of fun in it. Way too much build-up and patience than should be required.

Still, not bad at all. Better than anything I could do.
